Wasps!

On Sunday we went to Brandon & Carly's house to watch football (da Bears!). We were outside on the deck and Tyson was playing when he reached up between where the deck post meets the house. I saw the wasps before I heard the screams. He must have been stung several times. There was a small nest hidden from view.
His hand swelled and turned red up to his elbow. If you've ever been stung by a wasp you know how painful it is! He was crying and going back and forth between Jen, me, and Steve. I think he was trying to find someone who would make it better! Jen called the dr and gave him benedril and cortisone cream. He didn't cry very long and soon was back to playing like nothing happened, even using his hand to throw the ball. We all decided we'd still be crying and complaining!
It was very scary, and I felt so bad for him, but it could have been a lot worse. Other than that it's been kind of quiet. Here are a few new pictures of him playing Grammy's house:
